New Exhibits at Blue Morning Gallery

“Date Night” at the Blue Morning Gallery on Friday, August 24, features art as “the Greatest Show on Earth” with a circus-themed party for the public from 5 to 8pm.  The presence of the Popcorn King and Celtic band Sweet Prospect adds to the fun.
Continuing until September 1, the Blue Morning Gallery show “Art Rocks” highlights the unique glass art and jewelry of Lyn Gentry, also known as “Hot Sands Glass” and the distinctive and popular oil paintings of Melody Hamilton.
Ongoing for the month of August, the Gallery’s Artist Exchange has artists from Blue Morning Gallery, tile artist Mark Schmitt and iconographer Connie Wendleton trading places with watercolorists Judy Aronson and Denise Inge, of Cathedral Square Gallery in Mobile.
The Blue Morning Gallery offers shopping for art that is local, original and affordable. The two newly decorated Gallery windows offer additional ideas. Open seven days a week, the Gallery is “an art festival every day.”
The Gallery is located at 21 S. Palafox. For more information, call 429-9100.
