Pensacola Shakespeare Theatre and Jaco’s Bayfront Bar and Grille present ‘Bubbles and Brawls’, the first installment of our new “Shakespeare and Champagne” series.
For three nights, PenShakes will perform the Bard’s more famous insults, arguments, taunts, and tricks from “Much Ado About Nothing,” “Romeo & Juliet,” “Henry VI,” “The Taming of the Shrew,” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
Admission includes two complimentary glasses of Korbel California Champagne and the bottles will be popping and pouring as we illustrate the art of the argument, and it’s evolution from the Bard’s day to modern times.
Featured Professional actors include husband and wife team Sam Osheroff; (Artistic Director and Visiting Professor of Acting at the University of West Florida,) and Kris Danford (Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at UWF,) as well as Phil Croton ( former company member and education co-coordinator of the Theater Royal, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.) Rounding out the ensemble is a cracker jack group of theater degree-seeking students and graduates from the University of West Florida. Only an un-muzzled beetle-headed pignut would miss it!
Attendance is limited to 100 tickets per show so don’t delay, get yours online now!
