Seagull Blue returns to the Handlebar Saturday night. This time it’s for a special occasion—the release of their debut EP, “The Brighter Side of Reckless.”

Straight from “the seagull nest”—bassist Taylor Wyrosdick’s barn, to be precise—the EP was recorded by friend and fellow local musician Michael Bishop of Pioneers! O Pioneers!

Although still a young band, this local indie rock and roll quartet is moving full speed ahead into the new year with plans of touring and hopefully another EP soon to follow this one.
