Pensacola Children’s Chorus presents The Angels Sing. Tickets on sale now


The Pensacola Children’s Chorus, under the direction of Allen and Susan Pote, is pleased to announce its upcoming choral concert, The Angels Sing, Sunday, Feb. 24 beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the Saenger Theatre.

This year’s concert will feature guest conductor, Henry Leck who is an internationally recognized choral director residing in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Leck is the Founding Artistic Director of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir, one of the largest children’s choir programs in the world, and the Indianapolis Youth Chorale. He is also Associate Professor and Director of Choral Activities at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Audiences will experience the soaring voices of over 300 singers, ages 9-18. All seven choirs of the Pensacola Children’s Chorus will be heard in this beautiful program featuring classical and contemporary choral music, as well as international music from different cultures. Composers heard include Donizetti, Aaron Copland, Eric Whittaker, and Dan Forrest.
