Art Explorations with Larry Adams

Tonight at Artel Gallery, Larry Adams will give a presentation and demonstration on the modernization of traditional middle European folk music as part of the gallery’s Art Explorations series.
Larry is presently a senior at the University of West Florida, where he is earning his Bachelors in Performance. He is studying Composition with Dr. Joseph Spaniola and has premiered many new compositions in the Pensacola area. He has also studied with Dr. Troy Gifford (Valencia College) Dr. Michael Coleman (University of West Florida), and Dr. Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon (Eastman School). He premiered works with the Runge String Orchestra and String Quartet, under the direction of Dr. Leonid Yanovskiy, and the Tempest Brass, of which he is a member.
There is no charge for admission. Light refreshments will be served.
Artel is a not-for-profit gallery located on the first floor of the Old Escambia County Courthouse, 223 Palafox Place, at the corner of Palafox and Garden streets.
