The literary brainchild of musician, writer, “punk anthropologist” and underground publishing hero Aaron Cometbus, the magazine was first published in 1981 when editor Cometbus was 13 years old and admittedly unselfconscious enough to corner The Ramones for an interview.
The latest issue focuses on friendships rooted in Cometbus’s hometown of Berkley, CA, and maintained over decades on the road and living elsewhere.
The reading is free. For those who would like a portable experience, copies of the magazine will be available for $3.
