What was most memorable about your proposal?
JUSTIN: It was in Thailand on a dinner cruise. I requested a song and fifteen or twenty minutes later the lady called my name. After the song they pulled out a chair and had Tarron sit down and I proposed to her.
TARRON: After studying abroad in China, Justin and my family met me in Korea and we went from there to Thailand. I didn’t know what was going on. The most memorable part was just being on the river in Bangkok, and having my family there. JUSTIN: I had to hide the ring in my pocket while I was over there for five days without her finding out and being paranoid about it.
Why do you want to have a Block Party Wedding?
JUSTIN: It sounded very unique and different. We are fortunate to participate in the experience.
TARRON: We think it would be amazing to have something like that. We couldn’t have thought up something so elaborate.
If you don’t win, where and when do you plan on tying the knot?
TARRON: Our original wedding date was set for April of next year. We were going to rent a house for the reception but have the actual wedding ceremony on the beach.
What does a typical “date night” look like for you?
JUSTIN: Dinner and a movie., then maybe out to Hopjacks for a couple “brewskies.”
TARRON: If we don’t go out for a drink, we usually go home for a glass of wine and just hang out.
Important reception question—Wobble, Cupid Shuffle, Electric Slide, Harlem Shake (or all of the above)?
JUSTIN: Harlem Shake is the most fun for everybody. But probably all of them in reality, you know?
