The Hangout Music Fest has announced the lineup for its annual Thursday Kickoff Party on May 15, 2014. The party takes place at the Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores and will feature Girl Talk, Iron and Wine, Wolfmother, Danny Brown, Dumpstaphunk,Bonobo (performing a DJ Set), and Bombay Bicycle Club. Additional acts will be announced in April. Tickets are on sale for $40 and can be purchased at www.hangoutmusicfest.com.
Fans who have already purchased three-day passes for the Hangout Music Fest will have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets. Ticket holders will receive an email with instructions on how to get their discounted tickets. The Thursday Kickoff Party is free for VIP and Super VIP ticket holders.

The 2014 Hangout Music Fest takes place on the white sandy beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama May 16-18. This year’s lineup features headliners The Black Keys, The Killers, Outkast, and Jack Johnson, as well as, Queens of the Stone Age, Pretty Lights, The Avett Brothers, Modest Mouse ,The Flaming Lips, STS9, Wiz Khalifa, Zedd, Childish Gambino, Amos Lee, Conor Oberst, Tegan and Sara, Portugal The Man, Fitz and the Tantrums, Capital Cities, Boys Noize, Bloody Beetroots Live, Ingrid Michaelson, Los Lobos, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, NEEDTOBREATHE, The 1975, Bastille and many more.
