PIRATE TROLLEY TOUR 6:30 p.m. The Blood Red Trolley showcases local actors performing “The Curse of Don Tristan de Tuna,” which plays out over several stops celebrating a “cockeyed” view of Pensacola history and treachery on the high seas. STARGAZING AT FORT PICKENS Sunset—10 p.m. Weather permitting, volunteers from the Escambia Amateur Astronomers’ Association will set up several telescopes for public viewing of the stars, planets and constellations at  the Battery Worth Picnic Area at Fort Pickens. The program is free; however, there is an $8 entrance fee to the Fort Pickens Area. FIRECRACKER 5K 7:30 a.m. The Firecracker 5K Run, Walk or Wheelchair event benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida gives participants the chance to don red, white and blue attire while racing through downtown Pensacola. Kids can participate in the Rock Our Socks Fun Run, which begins shortly after the 5K. Expo, Packet Pick-up and Late Registration will be held on Friday, June 27 from 12 to 7 p.m. at Running Wild and on Saturday, June 28 from 6 to 7 a.m. at Seville Quarter, where the race will begin.
