Apple Market, “the biggest little store in town,” provides fresh meats, fantastic deli selections, outstanding produce, perishables and friendly, efficient service. Apple Market not only carries items you’d find at a typical grocer, but also those you’d find in many specialty item stores. In addition to having one of the best delis and produce aisles in town, the store also offers many imported cheeses, wine and bread and will order specialty items that customers can’t find elsewhere. Catering and delivery services are also offered. Owner David Apple believes the store’s success has stemmed from providing everything the customer wants with the convenience of being right around the corner, and it looks like IN readers agree with him.

Owner Charlotte Gordon’s dream of creating a store that fits the customer’s needs has certainly been realized. For the second straight year, Aragon has been voted the best wine shop. Offering a variety of specialty and exotic wines (including organic), catering to individual orders and suggestions, and offering wines at all price points has made the wine shop one of the area’s most loved local businesses. One of the oldest and largest antique galleries in the area, Blue Moon features a large, air-conditioned facility housing a variety of rescued, recycled and refinished furniture and goods of all kinds. Items include home décor, dishes, furniture, artwork and more. IN readers cite the well-organized floor and helpful staff as reasons for Blue Moon’s win this year.
