Even though it’s the holiday season, you don’t need a reason to enjoy some fine bubbly. At Distinctive Kitchens’ fourth annual Grand Champagne Tasting you can taste some of the finest sparkling wines Friday, Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m.
“We collaborate with local distributors to bring great wines at great values,” said business partner, Curtis Flower. “We want people to experience unique tastes.”
Tickets are $39.99 per person, and with your ticket you can taste all the varieties of champagnes and hors d’oeuvres, and you’ll also receive a complimentary Riedel champagne glass. Also, customers at the tasting will receive special discounts on featured sparkling wines—not a bad Christmas gift.
Even if you’re not a connoisseur of the finer things in life, you’re still encouraged to attend the Grand Champagne Tasting and broaden your wine horizon.
“Everybody can come to this event,” Flower said. “The tasting gives you the opportunity to learn something new. Champagne is not just a beverage you celebrate with. You can enjoy it every day. Champagne complements more foods than any other wine.”
Chef Keith Hoffert will prepare hors d’oeuvres to complement the champagnes. The event is limited to 50 people, so sign up quickly for this cultured experience.
“I hope people come out and gather a better understanding of champagnes,” Flower said. “It’s drilled in our heads that champagne is a celebratory beverage, but there’s nothing wrong with enjoying it on a Saturday afternoon by the pool.”
