Paul William Richelson received his Ph.D. in 1974 and his M.F.Ain 1967 at Princeton University, and received his B.A. at Yale University in 1961. Dr. Richelson taught Art History, was Chief Curator at Trisolini Gallery of Ohio University and the Grand Rapids Art Museum; Curator of American Art at Mobile Museum of Art; Assistant Director/ Chief Curator at the Mobile Museum of Art; and is currently Chief Curator at the Mobile Museum of Art. Dr. Richelson also holds an extensive résumé of publications, research activities, grants and awards.
Artists may drop off work at Artel Saturday, July 16, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, July 17, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Each member may submit up to three works in any media. This show will exhibit from July 19 – August 26, 2011.
An opening reception, catered by Varona’s, will be held on Friday, July 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Artel Gallery, 223 Palafox Place in the old Escambia County courthouse.
