
The Chado: The Way of the Japanese Tea Ceremony has been set for Friday July 22 at 4 p.m. at the University of West Florida Japan House, Building 71.
Guests are invited to participate in the ceremony. Please wear appropriate clothing for kneeling or stepping on the tatami mats, and bring a pair of white socks. Please refrain from wearing jeans, shorts, and strong fragrances. The ceremony lasts about 50 minutes.
The demonstrations are free and open to the public. Reservations are required as space is limited. RSVP is requested no later than 5 p.m. one week prior to the tea ceremony date.
