The Fiesta of Five Flags Association is now accepting applications from those interested in participating as a food vendor for the 28th annual Pensacola Crawfish Festival. The festival will be held May 4, 5 and 6 in Bartram Park in downtown Pensacola.
Cart vendor fees are $600, and food vendor fees are $1,350. All prices include an application fee, a refundable cleanup deposit and electricity.
Interested food vendors are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, applications are due February 29. Applications may be obtained by calling the Fiesta of Five Flags office at 850-433-6512 or online at www.fiestaoffiveflags.org.
Vendors who serve Cajun, Creole and New Orleans style fare related to the theme of the festival are given priority. The process is highly competitive and submitting an application does not ensure acceptance. Final selection of food and cart vendors will be made by the week of March 26.
The Pensacola Crawfish Festival brings over 20,000 people to downtown Pensacola for this three day event. Over 16,000 pounds of crawfish is brought it from Louisiana musical artists will be performing traditional Louisiana swamp pop, Cajun and zydeco music throughout the weekend.
The Pensacola Crawfish Festival has been consecutively recognized as one of the Top 20 festivals in the southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society.
